We have the perfect mount custom made for your Jeep Wrangler JL

  • Easy to install with no permanent modification to your Jeep.
  • Close to reaching yet out of your way.
  • Provides a vertical orientation for your handheld radio's antenna to clear the dashboard for optimal reception.
  • The radio can be inserted in and taken out in an instant while using just one hand.
  • Expandable system - additional rails for other radios and devices are available for purchase on our site if you decide to change your device.
  • All our designs are rigorously and extensively real-life tested off-road.
  • Mount installs in 5 seconds: just slip it over the passenger'' grab bar and secure it with the provided latch.
  • Safer than other mounts on the market - made of durable plastic - not tin.
  • No sharp metal edges that can scratch a pet (or a passenger) bouncing around on that awful back washboard on your way to Monument Valley.
  • Made in the USA! All our products are proudly designed and manufactured in sunny Arizona.

  • Custom made to clip onto the passenger-side grab bar of a Jeep Wrangler JL.
  • We also have RHD (right-hand drive) versions available. To request just send us a note.

The Mic holder for this model:

  • Perfect fit for your Icom ID-5100 Mic.
  • Supports any mic for ICOM Handheld Radio using a Square Hole Attachment Point.
  • Note that some product images might display other Mobile Mic. However the Mic holder is identical.

The Radio support rail (aka the Vertical Support Rail):

  • Custom made to fit the Kenwood TH-D74's belt clip.
  • Rails for other radios are available for purchase on our site if you decide to change your device.
  • The mount is not compatible with extended batteries that either:
    • Make the radio too long such that it interferes with the mount.
    • Extend the depth of the device too much such that the unit cannot be secured to the mount.
    • Increase the weight of the device by more than 3oz.
    • See this article for a better solution
  • Since there is no standard belt-clip design we can not guarantee fit for any other devices.
  • Depending on the model of your radio we include special spacers to ensure a secure and rattle-free fit.
  • Note that some product images might display other Handheld Radio. However the Radio rail is similar but is specific for your device.

    Great Product

I received my IC-2730 Mic + Baofeng BF-F8HP Radio Holder a couple weeks ago and Love It. It works perfectly and appreciate the different parts to make everything fit the way I want it to. I will Definitely recommend this to anyone.

    Jeep grip bar clip on

Jeep grip bar clip on fits nice and snug on grip bar (2021 Wrangler JLU Sport S). Handheld and mobile mic work as advertised with bar clip, great product! May soon add second clip on for additional radio equipment.

    Charles B. (Sedona, US)

The upper part works well for a BTECH GMRS handheld radio (or a Baofeng UV82 ham radio). The lower part works OK for an ICOM microphone but it hangs low, close to passenger knees. Because it's so low, there is a lot of leverage that could break the microphone or the mount if hit by a knee. Looks as if it would not be difficult to raise the microphone mount an inch or so. It would be a big improvement.

    As described

It was a little tough getting it together on the grab bar. I just needed something to aid in bringing the ends together. But was exactly what I was expecting. Unfortunately, I changed my radio setup and need a different mic holder than the one I bought and it doesn’t look like I can just order a different mic holder without ordering a whole new unit. But that’s on me for ordering the wrong one.
